Industries, Inc. Celebrated Thrift Store Grand Opening

The Grand Opening of our GoodWorks Thrift Store the week of October 7 was a big hit with specials and door prizes. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by city officials, business owners, Industires' management and staff and many friends.

The Grand Opening of our GoodWorks Thrift Store the week of October 7 was a big hit with specials and door prizes. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by city officials, business owners, Industires' management and staff and many friends.

The store is well-stocked with a wide variety of items including kitchenwares, decorative items, clothes and furniture. Donations of good-quality items are always accepted. There are also many volunteer opportunities.

GoodWorks is located at the intersection of Highways 65 and 23E in Mora( 200 Hwy. 65, Mora, MN) and is open Monday through Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm. Thursday we're open until 7!

Quality donations accepted at GoodWorks Thrift Shop

Do you have good items just sitting in boxes? How about furniture you're not using? Is household clutter driving you crazy? Recycle it all! Your trash is someone else's treasure (and vise versa)!

Yyour quality donations are needed now! We are accepting:

  • Accessories - belts, hats, gloves, jewelry, purses,
  • Wooden table - Industries, Inc.
  • scarves, socks
  • Antiques and collectibles
  • Books
  • Cell phones, ink cartridges and large batteries
  • Christmas trees (artificial)
  • Clothing and footwear
  • Craft materials, fabric and yarn
  • Furniture – small tables, chairs, etc. in good condition only (items must be viewed and approved by staff before donating)
  • Games, puzzles and toys
  • Kitchen – dishes, cooking, utensils
  • Home and holiday décor – candles, frames,
  • giftware, lamps, pictures
  • Linens – bedding, curtains, tablecloths
  • Media – CD’s, DVD’s, records, video tapes
  • New or barely used medical equipment
  • Small appliances – coffee makers, blenders,
  • toasters
  • Small electronics – radios, clocks, telephones
  • Sporting goods
  • String lights—working or not
  • Tools—all kinds hand to power
  • Much More!

We cannot accept: Hazardous waste, flammable products, or items containing hazardous waste such as microwaves, computer monitors, TVs, VCRs, or answering/fax machines; Mattresses and box springs; Sleeper sofas; Carpeting; Children’s car seats; Construction materials; Dehumidifiers and humidifiers; Exercise equipment, or Large appliances.

Drop off your gently used merchandise at the GoodWorks store, 200 Hwy. 65, Mora. If it's more convenient, you can bring items to Industries, Inc., 601 S. Cleveland Street, Cambridge. Both locations accept donations Monday through Friday from 9 am to 2:30 pm. People are available to help you unload your vehicle!
