Industries, Inc.

TJ is into his fifth year at Industries.  He works in-house and at many of our enclaves in the community.  He’s often the first person to volunteer to work when someone is needed.

TJ enjoys computers, crafts, sports, going home to visit his family, camping, gardening, learning new things and office work.

Others would describe him as helpful, funny, caring and a good friend.

Dennis has been with Industries, Incorporated since September of 1970 – almost as long as Industries has been around!  In his 40+ years here, Dennis has gained experience on a lot of different jobs.  Currently he does document shredding at the Isanti Co. Government Center and various CMP jobs in the production area.

Away from work, Dennis relaxes with books and TV.  He also enjoys working on craft projects and listening to country music.  Dennis looks forward to time spent with his mother and his sisters, especially going out to dinner with them – and knowing Dennis, it’ll be burgers and fries!

Mary has been with Industries, Incorporated 25 years!

She enjoys quiet time; she likes to sit off to the side and watch what’s going on around her. Mary enjoys the sensory room, massage and lotion.

Mary has a great sense of humor and enjoys engaging in playful teasing. She loves being outdoors and going for walks. In the community, she enjoys parks, restaurants, movies and malls.  Mary giggles when she hears her name in songs or stories.  Mary is a lot of fun to work with!

Becky has been at Industries, Incorporated’s Cambridge facility since April of 2010.  She has been on the janitorial crew for many of our community enclaves and also does in-house production work. Production is an area in which Becky does very well.  Becky produces quality work, and has one of the highest rates of production among clients working in the shop.  She really excels when it comes to doing swivel plates and making jewelry. Becky is friendly, kind and  is typically willing to volunteer wherever help  is needed.

Away from work, Becky enjoys video games, spending time with friends, and is an avid reader.  She also participates in activities for Special Olympics.

Zack came to Industries, Inc. in 2003. Since then, Zack has worked at most of Industries' enclaves! 

He has worked at the Grand Casino in Hinckley; Quality Disposal; Lion’s Park; VOA; Mora Schools; and one of his favorite enclaves, Fox Run. 

Zack enjoys doing almost anything outside, even if it is mowing lawn or weed whipping.  He has been very helpful in the warehouse and is very mechanically talented.  He has helped staff integrate new systems and jobs. He is a great mentor to his peers and has helped many staff spell big words!

When Zack is not working he enjoys many hobbies such as music, cars, animals and taking things apart.

Lona has been at Industries, Incorporated since September of 2003. She attends the DT&H program two days a week, where she works on a variety of skills.

Lona is a very caring and affectionate person and enjoys taking walks throughout the building to visit other clients and staff, generally with a big smile on her face that tells you she is genuinely happy to see you!

Away from work, Lona has a long list of hobbies and interests including painting, crafts, walking, and dancing/listening to the oldies.  She also loves reading – especially fashion magazines!  Time spent with friends, family, and her children is what Lona enjoys most of all.
